Meet Real ChloË
Basically, I`m a pretty normal person who just happens to be able to play the violin... I love my life and I wouldn`t change it for the world!! Going to different Countries is exhilarating and I feel very privileged that I have the opportunity to visit so many place. I can`t really say that I see much when I get there because I spend the majority of my time practising 5-7 hours in a hotel room... One of the necessities of being a violinist... Luckily, I enjoy that... :-))
Another great thing about this life is that I get to work with (and have fun working with) amazing musicians. Meeting my audiences after a concert is another fave thing!! Something that is very close to my heart is being able to give something to people who are less fortunate than me (see charity section).
Being a typical woman I will always go and have a look at the shops if I get the chance... There`s nothing quite like retail therapy!... ;-)) Also, I have so many friends dotted around the place (especially in Vienna -- my all time fave city!), so it`s great to be able to catch up with them when I`m in whichever country they are. Until then, I have to rely on MSN and texts to stay in contact... Lets just say phone companies get good business from me!
When I`m not practising I love reading (I normally have about 3 different books on the go at any one time), listening to music, and not just Classical but things like Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Gorillaz, Linkin Park, Pink Martin, etc. (weird mix I know but I think its important to have as broad a taste in music as possible!!) I`ve just joined my local Health Club/Gym and started dance classes there... I do Latin/Salsa dancing and Bollywood/Bhangra. They are so different but are real confidence boosters and great fun to boot!! I also love hanging out with my family but because my siblings are quite a bit older and don`t live that close, I don`t see them that often.
Something that surprises quite a lot of people is that I`m totally passionate about cars... I absolutely love them and I have (well, had) a MINI (they are great fun to drive and handle beautifully!). F1 is something else I just can`t miss when it`s on television!... I`m really hoping to get to a race this year!!
